New Sponsor, New Year, New Faces, Same Goal!!!

After loosing a key player in the off season the newly named Spryfield Bubba RAYS looked to add some depth in numbers,and quality in new players.

Leaving the Spryfield team this summer are Chuckie Langille, Chuckie was an original member of this squad and his dedication to being the best he could day in and out will be missed greatly. He was the main success in our provincial championship two summers ago, and hisarm and glove will be greatly missed, but most of all his bat will be tough to replace.

Chuckie we wish you the best andhope to see you around the field this summer.

Onthe up side, Bubba RAYS have added some long timemembers of the MIBL from the now defunt Mexi's Mudhens. Joining the squad will be Aaron McLean, who will log a lot of innings at all position of the infield, his quality arm and glove will be a nice addition to our squad. He is yet anothe rleft handed bat in our line up, making ithell on left handed pitching. Also joining the squad is Steve Pamenter, with Steve we are able to add a huge bat in the middle of our line up, as he will primarily used as a DH this year, he will also share some of the duties with Rob Comar on the catching side. Along with him we added Ricky Fry who is making a come back to hardball after seeing some duty lasr year. Ricky will log a lot of innings on the mound and in the outfield this summer and we are really excited to have Ricky onboard.

Also oining us from Mexi's will be Mike Barkhouse. Mike will logsome innings onboth corners of the infield and his consistent bat will be added depth in our line up. Another is Brad Jacobs a sure handed infielder,Brad will be a nice addition to the infield in late innings, with his spray hitting ability another quality role player on this years squad.

Add these strong players to an already strong line up that includes, Laphen, Pelham, Cameron, Heighton, Bona, Ritcey and both Priests and this summer looks to be an exciting one!!
