With the constant barrage of rain in the HRM for the past two weeks and it having no signs of slowing. The entire month of May could be rained out.

In all our years playing ball in May I have never seen this much rain. It is two fold problem with HRM not being able to get to the fields to mow and maintain and the players not being able to get out to practice or better yet play.

Spryfield will hold two potential practices this week to see a few new bodies and let a few old ones loosen up too.

We are currently slated to practice Tuesday at Leiblin Park at 6:00pm and then again on Thursday same place, same time. If both of these are rained out we will hold in indoor session at either the baseball facility in Bayer's Lake or one at Joe Howe School in the Halifax.

All new players interested in attending these sessions should call Darryl Cameron at 902-441-2050 before attending.

Thanks,
