They played 8 great innings of ball. However one inning being the 1st inning of the year was the one when it came undone.

Josh Priest threw five strong innings and away from the first where Bedford scored 6 runs on 4 hits. Bedford's four hits were all bloop singles however they were enough as Pelham Electric just couldn’t get their bats going to generate any offence.

All-in-all it was a good first game, losing 8-4 after trailing 6-0 after the first meant Pelham won the other 8 innings of ball played that night. Jason Priest led the team at the plate going 2-3 with a walk.

TJ Heighton came in and relieved Josh after 5 complete. Pitching 3 innings before giving way to Jay Henman who pitched the ninth.

Spryfield's next game and home opener will be played next Sunday May 29th at 7:30 versus the Dartmouth Drillers. Game is at Mainland Commons.
